It all started when I saw these mini jugs at Hobby Lobby (um, before Anna was born, I may add). My child was going to have a fall-themed party. And there were going to be Apple Cider jugs. That is all. Haha.
As for the labels, I pre-affixed them when the jugs were empty, for the sake of time. A DIY mom and in-law host required a great deal of pre-planning! The night before the party, we filled them up with cold, refrigerated brew, and some of the labels did bubble up. Room temperature cider and putting the labels on afterwards, would probably have been the best bet – but we have limited fridge space, and had to buy the cider, last minute. I was able to smooth the labels out before setting them up, so still happy with how they turned out.
We had a mix of apple crumble and cherry pies for our guests and families. Honestly, I ordered the wrong size boxes and so I made Aunt Jennifer double-sticky-tape the pies down in the boxes. Haha. Again, in the essence of time! Thank you, Jennifer Gomo for your help in putting these together.
